Methodology

Built for buy-and-hold investors. Not for day traders.

Allin Signal is a long-horizon trend system. We rate stocks once per close based on whether the long-term trend is intact — not where price will be in the next hour, day, or week.

Not suitable for day trading. Our signals refresh on the weekly close and are designed to be held for months to years. They will not catch intraday reversals, earnings pops, or short-term swings — and they're not meant to. If your holding period is measured in minutes or hours, this product is the wrong tool.

Who Allin Signal is for

Good fit
  • Long-term investors holding positions for months or years
  • Investors who want a mechanical filter against riding broken stocks
  • People building or rebalancing a multi-name portfolio
  • DIY investors who check positions weekly, not constantly
Not a fit
  • Day traders looking for entry/exit timing within a session
  • Swing traders working on hour or day timeframes
  • Options traders who need short-dated direction calls
  • Anyone wanting earnings-day or news-driven trades
Human-built · No AI

Zero artificial intelligence goes into our signals.

Our stock ratings come from years of hands-on experience, trial and error, and disciplined refinement at the chart — not from a black-box model that nobody can audit. Every rule was earned the hard way: by sitting through cycles, watching what works, and discarding what doesn't. The strategy you see today is the result, and it has proven to be the most reliable and profitable approach we've found for long-horizon trend investing.

How it works (without the secret sauce)

Every Friday at the close, Allin Signal scans every stock listed on NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX through our proprietary trend model. The model produces a single output per ticker: BUY if the long-term trend is intact and confirmed, SELL if it has broken.

We do not publish the inputs, the weights, or the math. What we publish is the rating and a confidence score. The methodology is built for one job — to keep buy-and-hold investors in healthy uptrends and out of structurally broken names.

Principles we hold

One timeframe.Ratings are computed from weekly closes only. We don't watch intraday charts and neither should you, if you're using this product as designed.
One rating per stock.BUY or SELL. No "hold," no "accumulate," no five-tier nuance. Ambiguity is a leak; we don't ship it.
Trend over story. We don't read earnings transcripts or price targets. The chart is the audit trail of every opinion already in the market.
Patience over activity. Most weeks, most ratings will not change. That is the feature, not a bug. Buy-and-hold means you do less, on purpose.

What this is not

Allin Signal is not investment advice, not a managed account, and not a guarantee. It is a mechanical reading of the market for investors who want to outsource trend judgment to a rule and free up their attention for life. Past performance is not a promise of future results, and your personal situation, taxes, and risk tolerance are yours to manage.
